Congratulations to Mari Boesen and Mohammed Almekalfi who were top graduate student and clinical fellow presenters, respectively, at the 2013 Department of Radiology Research Day. Dr Mayank Goyal organized the day and Dr Linda Andersen was a judge. (June 2013)

Craig Beers was awarded Second Place in a university-wide graduate student competition for his three-minute talk: Simultaneous Intracranial EEG and fMRI for the Imaging of Epilepsy. Click here to watch a video of Craig's talk. (May 2013)

Welcome to our 13 new summer undergradaute students - David Adair (supervised bys Drs Salluzzi and Gobbi), Kyla Brown (Salluzzi), Tiandra Ceyhan (Dr Goyal), Kreet Cheema (Dr Smith), Paul Coyle (Salluzzi), Anite Kang (Dr Federico), Mark Krongold (Dr Eilaghi), Luca Li (Dr Starreveld), Sandy Ly (Smith), Luis Neto (Boesen), Jonathan Shepherd (Dr Dickey), Rachel Wang (Dr McCreary and Frayne), and Patrick Wee (Dr Demchuk). Dr Armin Eilaghi was awarded an Eye's High Scholar award by the University of Calgary. Dr Chris d'Esterre was awarded a HN Hotchkiss Fellowship by the Hotchkiss Brain Institute. Both are new recruits to the Centre - Armin completed a fellowship at Sunnybrook in Toronto and Chris was recently awarded his PhD from Western University. Congratulations to both! (April 2013)

New email list server for Centre personnel. Click here for details. Also a new local Forum for discussion of MR Centre issues has been created. This forum provides MR Centre personnel with a place to discuss issues they may be having with data collection, archival, retrieval and other computer issues. Please note that the Forum is only accesible from within AHS network; visit the MR Centre Forum (November 2012)
